New Company ebu Burkhardt GmbH founded in January 2012.

At the stone+tec in Nuremberg we present our wide offer of stone working machines and
systems in hall 9 from 22nd to 25th June 2011. The focus lies on innovative technology and
proven design integrated in plants and machines, partially fully automated, for interior work,
industrial production of kitchen tops, solid building elements and monuments.

Supply Chain Management

Software solutions reasonably used for the control of the supply network plants in the company and for the communication with external business partners offer more efficiency along the value added chain.

Starting from April 1, 2010 the management of the engineering departments has been reorganized.

The company Burkhardt mourns for its senior head Dr. Otto Burkhardt, who deceased in the age of 87 on 7th March 2010. Dr. Otto Burkhardt was the Managing Director for more than 50 years until the year of 2000, when his son Alexander Burkhardt took over this position as Managing Director.

Burkhardt can look back on a successful long-time group apprenticeship with BAT. Since 1979 Burkhardt trained about 800 apprentices in his production plants in the group with Upper Franconia companies.

On 1.9.2009 28 new trainees startet their apprenticeship at Burkhardt GmbH Bayreuth.

In the scope of its continuous investment programme the BURKHARDT foundry Guss-Plus realized a further step in the programme and modernised the hand moulding installation after the erection of the new molding sand processing plant .
