Saw plant for fully automated cutting of unprocessed slabs and handling of workpieces.
The machine is a movable gantry design and conceived for the use of 400 mm diameter saw blades. The main motor (P = 15 kW) is infinitely variable within a range from 1,000 to 2,000 1/min.
Sawing support
The lower part of the support can be turned electrically from 0 to 360° and, likewise electrically, swivelled from 0 to 46°. Two vacuum lifting facilities, each of a size of 500 x 600 mm, are mounted on the right and left, next to the main motor. The power developed by the overall suction surface allows to lift workpieces with weights of up to 800 kg. The differently sized vacuum panels required for workpiece lifting are activated automatically in dependence on the size of the piece to be handled. Only workpieces with widths of no less than 40 mm can be handled.
Tool measuring
Tool diameters are measured all automatically. The detected actual diameter is being transferred and added to the data stored in the control system in order to be used for the execution of the next step.
Workpiece measuring
Measuring of the actual workpiece thickness at pre-programmed points on the workpiece. The control system utilises the measured values for the execution of bevel cuts in a self-acting manner. Only this way can exactly dimensioned workpieces be produced.
Water jet device
High-pressure pump with closed internal cooling water circuit and automated sand flow monitoring.
5-axle cutting head support mounted on a pneumatically controlled extendable support. Water and abrasives are being mixed in the 5-axle-cutting head to produce an efficient cutting jet. High-pressure from the stationary pump to the jet is supplied through high-pressure pipes, which run in cable carrier systems.
Saw belt table
Made of special rubber and endued with a wearing layer in its upper part.
table size approx. 11,700 x 3,000 mm.
