The company celebrates its 150th anniversary this year and its presentation was brought into line with this jubilee at the Blechexpo exhibition. The history of the company and its branches was shown on presentation tables arranged in chronological sequence. By its branch ebu the mechanical engineering company from Bayreuth established itself in the market as system supplier offering solutions from one source and as supplier of complete manufacturing lines for all sectors of the sheet metal forming industry. The process chain from one sourceDuring the four days event in Stuttgart Burkhardt presented to his visitors the full range of ebu services in 2011. The product range with eccentric presses, punching machines, strip feeding systems and modern servo-drive technology is complemented by far-reaching possibilities of upgrading and servicing of complete production lines and single machines to the program and from other manufacturers. A highlight is the advanced ebu servo drive technology in the third-generation for punching machines. It promises a highly dynamic work, longer tool life and higher output rate. The German / Dutch investment group Nimbus, oriented to a long-term engagement, joined the company as new owner. Nimbus will support the company in addition to financing with its experience in the machinery equipment industry. The new company ebu Burkhardt GmbH aims to continue its trustful relation to customers, suppliers and the Bayreuth community under the management of Jörg Berger.
