 New logistic centre in BURKHARDT foundry new logistic centre in BURKHARDT foundry GUSS-PLUS According to schedule the ground was broken first in the Justus-Liebig-Street in Bayreuth on August 25, 2008 and the construction works of the new BURKHARDT logistic centre started. Already on December 4, 2008, the Day of Barbara, the patron saint of the foundry workers, the Managing Director Alexander Burkhardt inaugurated together with the staff the modern hall which also incorporates the measuring room of the quality control system. The new building offers a convenient and up to date storage of auxiliary and operating material as well as patterns and cast iron parts and allows a smooth dispatch handling.
