150 years Burkhardt -
Stone processing machinery at Stone+tec
in Nuremberg from 22. - 25.06.11

BURKHARDT, a family owned medium-sized company with own foundry and resident at
Bayreuth/Germany since company foundation celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2011. The
company connects tradition, innovation and future and stands for proved and solid
technology.

Burkhardt provides for high flexibility, conscientious cost control and adherence to delivery
dates by improving continuously the production processes and taking optimal control of all
processes. We develop and realize complete systems as well as individual machines for
efficient and economic machining of natural and artificial stones as well as of concrete
building blocks and refractory material. The range of supply comprises the complete process
chain of a project starting from the determination of the demand over the project planning,
manufacturing and assembly up to the transfer to the customer as well as the subsequent
support by competent after-sales service staff. Repair, retrofitting and modernization of
machines of the brands Hensel, Carl Meyer, Schlatter and Arbes complete our program. We
have on stock all original spare parts of these types.

At the stone+tec in Nuremberg we present our wide offer of stone working machines and
systems in hall 9 from 22nd to 25th June 2011. The focus lies on innovative technology and
proven design integrated in plants and machines, partially fully automated, for interior work,
industrial production of kitchen tops, solid building elements and monuments.

During the exhibition we show two variants of the fully automatic sawing plant CSA 598
and an edge grinding and polishing machine of type KSA 579.
