Burkhardt owe their good reputation in that branch and the market share to their flexibility, customer-orientated concepts and profound market knowledge worked out in the forming technology. In 2009 the company exhibited an automatic punching machine of the type ebu STA-G 250/2000 P2, the new roller feed ebu EVX 500, the high precision straightening machine ebu FRM 21.30-630/2, a new CNC combined feeding-straightening machine of type VRM 9.60-250 and a de-coiler of type ebu HS 25-500 as well as a bench-type eccentric press ebu H 12 FT, which is mainly used in the Swiss watch manufacturing.

The extension of the supply spectrum and the optimization of the existing models of the strip feeding systems was a main focus of the latest Burkhardt development program besides the advancement of the established series of automatic punching machines and the servo drive technology. Thus Burkhardt is in a position to offer energy-saving solutions for an economic and increased productivity in every application.

The ebu team presented itself in unchanged strength and on a stand area of the same size than the years before demonstrating again its philosophy to advise the customer and to create a long-lasting partnership on a confidence providing basis. A reliable and flexible service with short reaction times, being well prepared for the treatment of machines from other manufacturers, emphasizes the efficiency of the company.

Managing Director Jörg Berger summed up at the end of the exposition: Our decision to participate in unchanged form, made in a lastly globally economically uncertain time, proved to be the right one. The response of our customers and an impressive number of visitors confirmed the interest and confidence in our products and team.
